Lab
Blockchain Lab, School of Information Management, Nanjing University.
Founded in November 2017 by the School of Information Management of Nanjing University together with Beijing PeerSafe Technology and Jiangsu PeerSafe Financial Union, the lab is hosted by the School of Information Management under a director-responsibility system. Originally named the PeerTech Innovation Lab, it was the first innovation lab in China jointly built by a university and a blockchain company.
The lab brings together the school’s strengths in information systems, business intelligence, information science and cryptography, working on frontier research, product development, platform building and talent training around blockchain in finance, regulation, supply chain, IoT and cloud computing.

Academic service and standards
The lab director serves on the CCF Blockchain Technical Committee and several national blockchain committees, and as editorial coordinator for IET Blockchain. Since 2022 the director has been an associate editor of the CCF annual Blockchain Academic White Paper.
